"Art"  -- To me, it is the Hundersted controllable pitch propeller hub.  Try to get you're typical sculpture to move a 40 ton boat.

Too hot to work on the steel hull, so we are back to working on the propellers.

We have a 12" lathe, but the blades would need a 16" lathe, so we improvised a solution using the CNC router.
